Review the Brytoq Terms of Service for using the platform, publishing opportunities, contacting users, and managing your account.

1a. Live Registration Selfie and Profile Authenticity

During registration, you must use the live camera capture to take a clear, current selfie of yourself. Allow camera access, keep only your own face visible, and follow the on-screen positioning and capture instructions. The captured photo is used as your profile image and can be visible to other users wherever your profile appears.

Use your own face. Do not substitute another person, a saved or stolen photograph, a photograph displayed on another screen, a recording, an AI-generated face, a deepfake, or another manipulated image. Do not attempt to bypass or mislead the capture checks or create an account that impersonates someone else.

Live capture adds a layer of accountability to interactions between founders, investors, job applicants, employers, buyers and sellers. It is intended to discourage fake or misleading profiles, impersonation, deceptive funding requests, fraudulent job or marketplace approaches, and abuse of messaging and business introductions.

The registration camera checks help capture a clearly positioned face; they do not establish legal identity, prove ownership of a business or listing, check financial capacity or qualifications, or guarantee that every spoofing attempt will be detected. A selfie does not grant Background Verification Check (BVC) or Verified status. BVC remains a separate process with its own requirements.

A profile photo is not an endorsement or a promise of honest conduct, safe investment, genuine employment, successful funding, or a completed sale. Users remain responsible for checking people, companies, jobs, listings and transaction details before sharing sensitive information, signing agreements or sending money.

If you cannot complete the capture, check camera permissions, lighting and device compatibility, and contact Brytoq support for help. Do not use someone else's face to get past this step. False or manipulated submissions and attempts to evade checks may lead to a request to retake the photo, registration not being completed, or account review, restriction or removal under these Terms. Profile-image handling and your data rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

2. What is Background Verification Check (BVC)?

Background Verification Check (BVC) is Brytoq's trust and verification process designed to help establish the identity and authenticity of users participating in business and investment-related activities on the platform.

It helps Brytoq reduce fake accounts, impersonation, fraudulent activity and other forms of platform abuse.

The check is not required for general access to Brytoq. Users may access eligible free features without completing it. Accounts that have not completed it are clearly identified as Not Verified, and other users may be advised to exercise additional caution when interacting with them.

Users who successfully complete the check receive a Verified status on their account. Verified means identity and background checks were completed according to Brytoq's process. It does not mean Brytoq confirms that a company or listing is safe to invest in.

The fee is $5. Payment does not guarantee approval. Verification decisions are based on Brytoq's requirements and the information provided during review.

Background Verification Check (BVC) and Verified status do not constitute an investment recommendation, financial guarantee, endorsement of a user's business, or guarantee of a user's future conduct.

You must submit clear, truthful, current identity documents and sign or accept the Brytoq confidentiality and non-disclosure terms when requested. False documents, edited documents, impersonation, or identity misuse may lead to rejection, suspension, reporting, or permanent account removal.

If your submission is rejected, Brytoq may allow correction and resubmission, but the fee is generally non-refundable except where required by law or where Brytoq decides a refund is appropriate. You may cancel at any time and continue using Brytoq without Verified status.
